How do I measure my blood glucose correctly?

Check the expiry date of the test strip before using it.

Take a sufficient amount of blood to completely cover the test strip. It is best to use the side of your finger for this, not the tip of your finger.

Which guideline values are there for blood glucose?

Guideline blood glucose values can vary by country and organisation, but in general there are the following guideline values for blood glucose:
